Real name is Kikuchi Michitaka, which he uses when doing character design or animation work. Best known for the 12 volume manga Silent Mobius, which has been adapted as two anime films, and later a separate series. Also made a parallel manga version of Martian Successor Nadesico called Meteor Schlachtschiff Nadesico. Already a fan of western pop culture, moved to America and got employed by Marvel on the X-Men comic, but also continues his own work.
