Kathryn is a writer, designer, composer, musician, translator, scholar, archer, skater, actor, anime lover, pop culture nerd, and vegan activist who splits her time between the US and Canada. She has worked as a non-profit founder and administrator, freelance composer and designer, smoothie barista extraordinaire, expert background actor, and skating instructor, and now is a list writer for Comic Book Resources in addition to moonlighting as a Japanese-to-English translator for various American publishers. A proud Trojan, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in East Asian Languages and Cultures with an emphasis in Japanese, and she also received an MMus degree from the University of Toronto in Music Technology and Digital Media. In the future, she hopes to continue to write about her nerdy passions, and she is even half-way through completing her first novel. Her far-fetched, non-career goal is to someday make it to the Olympics as an archer or a synchronized skater.
