Nijisanji

Nijisanji (にじさんじ) is a group of mostly 2D-only Virtual YouTubers who are also known as "Virtual Livers" (バーチャルライバー Bācharu Raibā) when posting on sites outside of YouTube, such as NicoNico Douga, Twitch and Bilibili. The term Liver, coined by mixing Japanese and English, is a heteronym for calling Nijisanji's streamers.

Managed by ANYCOLOR Inc. (formerly known as Ichikara Inc. until May 16, 2021), the group started in Japan in early 2018 and has since 2019 expanded to other countries such as China, Indonesia, South Korea and English speaking markets as an international project.

As of January 2023, there is a total of 179 members across two different branches: 148 NIJISANJI members and 31 NIJISANJI EN members. Outside of those two branches, there's also 43 VirtuaReal Project members from VirtuaReal, a joint venture project between Bilibili and ANYCOLOR in China.
