Cheng entered the comics industry in 1992, and has worked for Kwong's Creations Comics Limited and Ocean Creative Company Limited. He has started writing comics since 1999, publishing Mo Shen Chuan (literally: The Legend of Evil Devils). His name began to be known as he took over the title Wu Shen Feng Huang (literally: Warlord Phoenix). He embarked on his solo career in 2006. Dragon, Sha Dao Xing Zhe (literally: The Killer) and God Legion series 1-3 are some of the examples among his comics portfolio.
