Lea is the human form of Axel, and a close friend of Isa, Saïx's human form. He appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep as a teenager, alongside Isa, and then in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance as an adult. As a child, Lea is mischievous and childish, and has a streak for getting into trouble. As an adult, he remains cocky similar to his Nobody counterpart, Axel. Lea wishes to live on forever through others' memories, which led to his catchphrase, "Got it memorized?". Lea cherishes his friends and will do what he can to protect them, even if it means putting himself in harm's way.
