A carefree and comical figure, Aoi is the main character of the manga. A young girl, she departs on a journey from her hometown of Unshuu, to go to the peak of Kuryuu. Her sketchbook is the macguffin for Kyoko, who tags along with her in hopes of obtaining it for personal profit.
