Akane is a corpse in the wall of the office Neuro took over. All that sticks out is a braid of hair, which she appears to be able to use rather like a hand. Neuro got her to agree to be a secretary in exchange for hair care (provided by Yako). Akane later appears (as a braid) attached to Yako's new cell phone. (from wikipedia)
