A brilliant but mad scientist cast out from Tiphares because of his inhumane experiments, Nova utilize his expertise in nanotechnology to experiment with whatever he can get his hands on, like Makaku, Jashugan and even his son Kaos. His nanomachines can also reconstruct any damage done to his body, making him a tough nut to crack. While in Tiphares, he somehow managed to sneak into Melchizedek and learns the truth behind the utopian society of the sky city. Clearly mad, his actions seems to be mostly driven by whims, but his intelligence is not to be underestimated, as Alita (Gally) experience more than once.
