Daisuke is the protagonist of the story. He works as a grade school teacher and is in charge of the third grade class 3-1. He often ends up in situations that make it appear as if he is sexually harassing Rin; though, he believes to be the other way around, with him as the victim. Later on in the series he begins to grow attached to Rin more and more. He is at first unsure about his feelings for Rin, but later on he comes to the conclusion that it is fatherly love and nothing more. (Source: Wikipedia)
