Midori is the same age as Ayuhara. She joined the Fujimi Middle school volleyball team to become a captain, not out of love for the game but rather to become a popular sports star. At first she opposes Ayuhara, who stands in the way of her goal, however she soon grows to enjoy the game and her teammates.
