Yuuya Bridges' mother. Mira is blamed by the people around her in the South of the United States for having a child with a Japanese man, and that man disappearing.

Isolated by her xenophobic family, Mira struggled to maintain a strong front of confidence for her child and, but maintained that his Japanese side is something he should be proud of, rather than hate it as it was by most in the South. She often made Nikujaga for Yuuya, but never explained that it was Japanese so Yuuya could build an appreciation for the culture without hating the dish.
