A student at Chidori High and a close friend of [Rintaro](https://anilist.co/character/268677/Rintarou-Tsumugi)'s, alongside [Ayato](https://anilist.co/character/272243/Ayato-Yorita) and [Saku](https://anilist.co/character/272241/Saku-Natsusawa). Shohei is extremely outgoing, being the most talkative member of Rintaro's friend group. He also holds no hostility towards Kikyo's students despite the opposing school's vitriol towards each other.
