Asao Kurose

Odette's upperclassman and a notorious punk. He discovers that Odette is a robot when she interferes in a fight and suffer no damage after being hit on the head with a pipe. At first he seems ultimately uninterested in befriending Odette, and struggles with thinking of her as anything more than being a robot. But because of Odette's perseverance, the two do eventually become rather close. He has a crush on Odette's classmate Youko, who once showed concern for him even when others were too afraid to speak to him.
