Takafumi Tendou

The class president, Tendou is an all-around athlete with excellent grades and a fan club formed by the girls in his class. He's also a somewhat decent fighter, having participated in some of the more dangerous adventures.

At first, he was opposed to Takeshi's morals, disapproving of him for doing trivial things such as caring for the weaker classmates. He was quite arrogant, with no consideration for the others, but that changed once Takeshi showed him the wrongness in his actions. He has since matured enough that Takeshi considers him to be a Leader much like himself.

He has a vast cultural knowledge and often corrects Takeshi when he says something stupid. Along with Eiji, he's one of the only straight-man characters in the manga.
