Gonzou

The being of bossiness, Gonzou is one Takeshi's classmates. A huge hothead, he is often seen walking along with Eiji, the yin to his yang. He's afraid of haunted houses and spooky places and hates when the group's adventures involve them.

Gonzou believes Takeshi has stolen his role of protagonist, so he made him his bitter rival, and although he may not show it he considers Takeshi to be a great friend. Gonzou is also obsessed with Takeshi's dog Kojirou, and often tries to steal him for himself.

Although he is an ordinary first grader, his fighting prowess is beyond the realm of normal people, thus he has participated in most of the series' serious arcs.

His biggest secret is that his mustache is actually fake.
