He seems at first sight slightly old-fashioned, which fits the roles in which he has appeared.

He has appeared in Adventure of Rock (1952-54), several times in Black Jack (1973-83), in Cyrano the Hero (1953), and a few others. He is a relatively minor character, but he stands out, primarily in a visual manner, in any scene in which he appears.
