He cares deeply for his friends and for all the citizens of Viegald and his magical talent is unparalleled. When he mysteriously disappears, it's up to Mel to impersonate him, to stop other countries from attacking. Sylthfarn is portrayed as light hearted, energetic, and mischievous. Despite that, he can be quite serious, especially when worrying about those he cares for.
