Ao Nanami is a satori demon (a demon in Japanese folklore with the ability to read minds) and resident of the Sakurashin Town. She works at the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office and is the younger sister of Gin Nanami.

While she is possibly the youngest member of the team, she is certainly one of the most caring and friendly ones. Ao is constantly seen to be the one who is always first to help a person in need and has a playful nature that encourages everyone around her and despite being a demon, even the human children love to play with her and she always finds an opportunity so spend time with them.

Ao seems to have some kind of romantic relationship with Kotoha.
