A calm and no-nonsense bow-wielding shipgirl based on the real-life Japanese aircraft carrier Kaga. Sister ship to [Akagi](https://anilist.co/character/174622/Akagi).

In the *Shimakaze Tsumujikaze no Shoujo* manga, she's given a considerably darker characterization than in the first anime and *Fubuki, Ganbarimasu* 4koma, as she states her siblings "never got a chance to be born" and deems her very existence a mistake. However, she ends up bonding with Shimakaze over their mutual feelings.
