Makito Koenji

A master curry chef whose life was once saved from starvation by Sonezaki Souichiro. In return Makito, whether by mere coincidence or fate, meets Souichiro's daughter Yui only to find that her father's curry shop is on the verge of closing. In order to repay Souichiro, Makito promises Yui to help keep the shop running and brings his unique flavor and skills to revitalize the dying shop. Makito is never one to back down from a culinary challenge and is extremely knowledgeable in all forms of curry, due to his time spent visiting the various centers of regional curry styles all over the world. He says that anyone can cook curry, but because of that reason cooking curry is more of a challenge than other specialties because there is more competition. Although he is quite a pervert, he has a good heart and is a man of his word.
